Force India will have a Brazilian reinforcement for the 2012 F1 season. But this is not about a pilot, or even a new staff member in the Vijay Mallya team. This team, based at Silverstone, England, announced this Wednesday (15) the partnership with Aethra a Brazilian company focused on automotive systems and based in the city of Contagem (MG), Brazil.

Vijay Mallya, Team Principal and Managing Director of Sahara Force India: I am pleased to welcome Aethra as we prepare for the start of our journey in 2012. Its support is important as we seek to build strong relationships, which we have kept over the past four seasons, aiming to maintain the impulse we gained last year

The Indian entrepreneur has indicated that the experience of Aethra in the business of development of parts to help Force India to evolve, following the tendency of the last season. "As a supplier of auto parts, Aethra is ideal for Sahara Force India and its knowledge and passion for cars will help to ensure a successful partnership for both companies", said Mallya.

Rafael Sportelli, Aethras CEO:"Aethra is very proud to join to the Sahara Force India. Both companies share a long commitment with the technical excellence and they strive for innovation in highly competitive environments", said the Brazilian.

"In recent years this has been demonstrated by the evolution of Force India, finishing in the sixth place in the last season. Aethra is pleased to be associated with a team that is bear-hungry for success and we look forward to having an exciting season in 2012", concluded Sportelli.

The arrival of the Aethra to the Force India coincides with the arrival of Jules Bianchi at the Anglo-Indian team. This Frenchman who is still linked with Ferrari team, is sponsored by the Minas Gerais-based company since the days in GP2 with Lotus ART team, and brought with himself the sponsor to his new team. So much for the presentation of the VJM05 at Silverstone, with Nico Hlkenberg and Paul di Resta, the new reserve driver from the Force India was the only one to bear Aethra marks in the drivers overalls.
